hmm what version of ps do you have? maybe it's just your version. *shrug

k, i clicked it.
it only added the little arrow on the smaller version, like your picture.
how come it didnt add the little black square and the little picture link on the side of the clipping mask?

okay well you have 3 layers: smaller version, clipping mask, & background. now take your cursor & place it on the line in-between your smaller version & clipping mask layer. once you've done that, hold down atl. your cursor will look like two circles & an arrow. when you see that, click & your layers will look like my screenshot.
